The Gulgorahd-pattern Main Battle Tank is not a Leman Russ Battle Tank. The design pre-dates the recovery of the Leman Russ STC on Nova Borilia. The Gulgorahd-pattern tank was first produced by Forge World Gulgorahd during the Age of Strife.

The Gulgorahd-pattern Main Battle Tank is a squat design, with a low-profile hull and wide and well-armored turret. It is lighter in weight and armament than a Leman Russ, entirely foregoing any hull-mounted weaponry or sponsons. Instead, the broad turret houses all of the tank's weaponry. A standard-configuration Gulgorahd-pattern is equipped with a Battle Cannon and a secondary co-axial Lascannon.

Design

The primary design inspiration are the T-series Soviet MBTs, with an added mantlet inspired by the gun shields of Imperial Knights.
